Geoff’s Woodworking has been a fantastic partner with our new home. They have built out our kitchen, closet, bar and laundry room. Their expertise, creativity, attention to detail and use of the highest quality materials are evident in everything they build. Together, we have designed multiple unique home solutions involving cabinets, closets and bookshelves, and we are very satisfied with everything. They also stand by their work; if something isn’t perfect, they will work with you to correct it. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Slipcase
I was fortunate to purchase a special book last year that I’d been trying to find for a very long time. It is hand-crafted—oversized, with covers made from mahogany and detailed carvings. I’ll always hold onto this, so I wanted to find a way to protect it and display it without hiding the special materials and craftsmanship that had made me love it in the first place. After a great deal of looking, I was very fortunate to find Geoff and his team. They constructed a stunning slipcase in matching mahogany and even replicated the carving from the front of the book. The slipcase is absolutely beautiful and a perfect compliment to the book. The service and communication from Geoff was just as great during the entire project. I’m grateful and will hope to have opportunity to work with Geoff many times in the future. He’s the best.

Redwood
We live in a historic Julia Morgan home and have sought out the very best craftspeople to assist us in its restoration. Geoff’s Woodworking was recommended to us by a contracting firm that deals in historic restoration. Geoff and his crew were professional, pleasant, prompt, and perfectionists. They did outstanding work and we will hire them again for our next project that demands their skilled craftsmanship. We recommend them enthusiastically.

OakTable
I wanted a unique family dining table, and Geoff’s custom design blew me away. The piece was beautifully and sturdily constructed and finished, and the hand-carved inlay adds a unique touch. This table will be an heirloom in my family for many years to to come.

MapleCabs
Geoff’s Woodworking just completed a beautiful set of custom built-in cabinets with a matching bathroom vanity for our home. The pieces are exactly what we were looking for. The crew was very professional and the installation was painless. They even swept up and dusted before they left. Great work - we can’t wait for them to start the next project.

Organ
Geoff’s Woodworking brought the architect’s vision for the Cathedral of Saint Paul’s pipe organ casework to reality in spectacular fashion. Geoff Arko and his crew did an outstanding job of assembling the finished product in the organ gallery. The end result is a beautiful example of fine craftsmanship that will be a source of pride for the Cathedral for many generations to come.

Working on the Saint Paul Cathedral Organ Case with world renowned mastercarver Ian Agrell and Geoff’s Woodworking was an incredible experience. These gents were at the top of their game milling, joining and carving the walnut organ case. In size it was one of the largest facades they have ever built, but they made it look easy! Just as important, everything was done with a great deal of humor and joy. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

OrganInstall
From the beginning of the project, JE Dunn knew the organ case millwork required a special supplier for fabrication and installation...The pricing provided was competitive, their understanding of the project outcomes comprehensive and the merits of the team behind it were outstanding.

Lasting for more than a year, the fabrication process went extremely well. Geoff’s carefully detailed the casework to both meet the architect’s demanding design and to coordinate with the organ provider. Since the case was being built in California, Geoff’s did an excellent job during the project keeping everyone up to speed on the progress.

As with the fabrication, the installation was a well-run project. Geoff’s onsite crew came to the project with their safety plan in place and completed the highly visible, vertical work without incident. Despite a very difficult construction environment, their logistical plan was well conceived and completed...From beginning to end, the Agrell/Geoff’s team did an excellent job.
